Long Branch Woman Involved In Fatal 3-Car Collision
A Long Branch woman was involved in a three-car collision in rural Marlboro over the weekend that left a motorcyclist dead:
MARLBORO, NJ — A Long Branch woman was involved in a three-car collision in rural Marlboro Township over the weekend that left a motorcyclist dead, and his passenger hospitalized with serious injuries.
The crash happened shortly before 3 p.m. on Saturday in the area of Tennent Road and Peregrine Drive, said Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey.
The three cars involved in the crash were a Ford Explorer driven by a 46-year-old Long Branch woman, a GMC Acadia driven by a 52-year-old Hillsborough man and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by a 40-year-old Piscataway man, with a 32-year-old woman passenger, also from Piscataway.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, and his passenger was rushed via medical helicopter to Jersey Shore Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries, but not believed to be life-threatening.
Both the Long Branch woman and the Hillsborough man remained at the scene and they were not seriously injured, said police.

No charges have been filed at this time.
