A man once implicated in a guns-and-narcotics robbery scheme now faces a new Monmouth County rap: heroin possession.

Davante Tinnery, 22, was indicted for possessing a controlled dangerous substance in Asbury Park on Dec. 12, according to Monmouth County Courthouse records.

Tinnery, of Toms River, was charged thee years ago in a series of Toms River robberies involving guns and people dealing narcotics.

He was charged in the 2011 theft of $50 worth of drugs that led to the victims chasing the suspects in the Ocean County Mall parking lot, with one man whipping out a semi-automatic weapon and pointing it at their pursuers, police said.

No bail information was available regarding the Asbury Park incident.
