Tinton Falls Middle School gave a shout out to its new principal who took over the reigns of the school on May 10.

Linda Balogh, who was serving as interim principal at the school, took over full responsibility as the school's new principal following approval from the board of education on May 9.

Balogh has served the district for a number of years, according to Tinton Falls Board of Education President Peter Karavites, including as a teacher and building facilitator. She replaces David Hallman who left the district in early May to become superintendent of the Belmar School District.
