Monmouth Co. Certifies Eatontown, Long Branch Election Results

EATONTOWN, NJ — The Monmouth County Board of Elections has certified ballot counts this week, making the results from Election Night in Matawan official.

In the tightly contested race for the Eatontown Borough County, a Democrat and Republican each earned seats with the results now being official as incumbent Mark Regan, Jr, was successful in maintaining his seat while incumbent James Corcoran was defeated by Democratic challenger Danielle Jones, who collected the top number of votes in the election.

• Democrat Danielle M. Jones 3,250 25.35 percent
• Republican Mark Regan, Jr. 3,228 25.18 percent
• Democrat Mariel S. Hufnagel 3,218 25.10 percent
• Republican James M. Corcoran 3,105 24.22 percent

In the race for Eatontown Board of Education, three full-term seats were determined with the results now being official:

• Jennifer Connelley 3,446 29.88 percent
• Deborah Martinock 2,950 25.58 percent
• Tonya Rivera 2,628 22.79 percent
• Janine Naimoli Frederick 2,500 21.68 percent

In the race for Long Branch Board of Education, three seats were determined with the results now being official:

• Lucille Perez 5,220 24.05 percent
• Armand R. Zambrano, Jr. 4,787 22.06 percent
• Tasha Youngblood Brown 4,671 21.52 percent
• Joseph M. Ferraina 4,054 18.68 percent
• Kristopher Soto 2,950 13.59 percent
