Monmouth Regional Celebrates 50 Years
Monmouth Regional High School marks 50 years of education with a multi-generational reunion.
Monmouth Regional High School celebrated 50 years last week. On hand were students, board members and faculty from past and present. Some special guests included Robert Billings and the families of Norman J. Field and Vincent C. Festa. Billings is the only surviving original board member.
Music was provided by the award winning M.R.H.S. Jazz band under the direction of Gerald Romano, advisor. Sodexo provided the gathering of friends with appetizers, desserts, coffee and tea. A memory table displayed historical documents including yearbooks, graduation programs and Falconaires, the school's newspaper.
Falcon Ambassadors provided tours of the school while an apparel sale of M.R.H.S. was held outside the commons. Everyone in attendance went home with a gift bag at the end of the evening.
