Photo Op: MRHS Couples Gather at Tinton Falls Home for Pre-Prom Pictures

A group of Monmouth Regional High School Students gathered at the home of fellow student Anthony Truncale prior to their Senior Prom on Friday, June 3.

All that was missing on Friday afternoon at the Tinton Falls home of Bonnie and Anthony Truncale was the red carpet for all the high heels and tuxedoes that arrived for pre-prom festivities on June 3.

The teens, from Monmouth Regional High School, began arriving around 4:30 p.m. looking stunning in their gowns and tuxedos.

Gone was the usual uniform of shorts, flip flops, T-shirts and baseball caps.  The girls wore gowns in a bright array of colors while the young men looked very dapper and mature in their own finery.  Parents and well-wishers gathered on the front lawn taking photo after photo of their youngsters.  There were many sad comments from mothers regarding how fast the time has flown.  The couples were to ride in style to the prom as the limousines began arriving to whisk them away to the Berkeley Carteret Oceanfront Hotel in Asbury Park for the main event.
