Primary Election In Eatontown: When, Where To Vote

EATONTOWN, NJ — Primary Election day in New Jersey is June 6.

There is not a competitive primary in Eatontown, but in November:

Republicans Maria Grazia Escalante and Mark Regan will run against Democratic challengers Danielle Jones and Candace Faust.

That election will be Nov. 7.

How to vote in the primary on Tuesday:

Unaffiliated registered voters may choose to vote in either the Democratic Primary Election or the Republican Primary Election. If voting in person, either early or on Primary Election Day, an unaffiliated voter will declare their party affiliation at the polls before voting in the Primary Election.

Voters can choose one of the following options to return their Mail-In ballot:

• Mail the ballot through the United States Postal Service. Mail-In Ballots must be postmarked on or before 8 pm on Primary Election Day, Tuesday, June 6.
• Drop the ballot in a designated drop box by 8 pm on June 6.

There is a ballot drop box outside the Eatontown municipal building.

EARLY IN-PERSON VOTING

In-person early voting will open Friday, June 2 through Sunday, June 4. Hours will be Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

Vote-By-Mail Ballots cannot be returned to in-person early voting polling locations or Primary Election Day polling locations.

Polls in New Jersey will be open from 6 am to 8 pm on Primary Election Day.
