To kick off National Volunteer Month, Seabrook, an Erickson Senior Living community in Tinton Falls, NJ, hosted a Volunteer Fair on April 1. Seabrook employees and residents had the opportunity to learn more about local nonprofit organizations, including American Red Cross, Lunch Break, United Way, American Cancer Society, Bradley Food Pantry, Interfaith Neighbors, Inc., 180 Turning Lives Around, Konscious Youth Development & Service, and more.

The event was sponsored by the Erickson Senior Living Values Committee, a group dedicated to strengthening the community one project at a time.

Through the Erickson Cares Program, full-time employees are eligible for up to 40 paid volunteer hours per year.

In addition, more than 250 residents actively volunteer in the local community throughout the year, donating their time to local schools, food banks, animal shelters, and many other organizations. To celebrate resident volunteers, Seabrook will host volunteer appreciation brunches on April 20 and 24, served by Seabrook’s executive leadership and dining services team members, to recognize their volunteer contributions both on and off campus.
