Seidle Children File $10 Million Notice Of Claim For Mother's Murder
Their father, Philip Seidle, gunned down their mother; Neptune, Neptune City, Asbury Park, Monmouth County and other agencies named in claim

The nine children of Tamara Wilson Seidle have filed a $10 million claim against a number of Monmouth County law enforcement agencies in connection with the death of their mother Tamara, who was gunned down by their father, Sgt. Philip Seidle on an Asbury Park Street in June, app.com said.
Seidle fired a total of 12 shots in two volleys at his ex-wife, in front of their seven-year-old daughter.
The family’s claim is for wrongful death, emotional distress, violation of civil rights, pain and suffering, loss of companionship, guidance and support for the children. An additional bystander liability claim is being filed for the daughter who was present during the killing.

Springfield-based Attorney Shelley Stangler filed the claim Friday to Neptune, Neptune City, Asbury Park, the three police departments as well the police directors in Neptune and Neptune City and the chief of Neptune, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, the county, the state of New Jersey and Seidle.
The claim is for wrongful death, emotional distress, violation of civil rights, pain and suffering, loss of companionship, guidance and support for the children. An additional bystander liability claim is being filed for the couple’s 7-year-old daughter who was present during the killing.

“The older children are doing everything they can to protect the younger children who were emotionally traumatized,“ Stangler told the Asbury Park Press.
