KEANSBURG, NJ — A man was shot and killed in Keansburg Monday night, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago announced Tuesday. At approximately 8:56 p.m., Keansburg Police responded to a 911 call for a shooting on the 40 block of Carr Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male victim, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. His name has not been released. Anyone who may have information regarding this incident is urged to contact Detective Joseph Mason at the Monmouth County Prosecutor's office at 732-431-7160 ext. 2189 or Keansburg Police Department Detective Michael Sheehan at 732-787-0600.
