'Serial Burglar' Caught In West Long Branch: Police

A multi-jurisdictional law enforcement task force led to the Long Branch man's arrest.

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ — Police caught a "serial burglar" Wednesday morning in West Long Branch. James Pellett as charged with several counts of burglary to auto, theft, criminal mischief and fraudulent use of a credit card.

Police accused Pellett, 31, of Long Branch, of committing these crimes in and around West Long Branch. A multi-jurisdictional law enforcement task force was formed, which ultimately led to his arrest.

The Long Branch Police Department assisted in identifying Pellett.
