Shore, Long Branch Football Return to Action Saturday
Long Branch will face Ocean at home and Shore will play Keyport on the road

The Long Branch and Shore Regional football teams enter week two of their season with very different tastes in their mouths.
Shore is coming off a last Saturday, where some new offensive weapons such as quarterback Brendan Dula and fullback Nick Grigos began to show what they could do.
This Saturday, they will play at Keyport, against a Red Raider defense that gave up 44 points to Metuchen and surrendered almost 300 yards on the ground.

The Blue Devils' emphasis on running the ball should bode well for team as it looks to improve to 2-0 before getting a bye next week.

Ocean Township and a talented offense led by senior tailback Greg Moore will be heading to Long Branch at 1 p.m. on Saturday after upsetting Middletown South in its season opener.
Long Branch's scored its only touchdown on 35-yard touchdown run by its best skill position player Dwight Clark in the fourth quarter. The team will lean heavily on Clark this season, but the offense needs other playmakers to emerge if is going to beat Ocean.
The Green Wave is looking to avoid a 0-2 start as the schedule does not get any easier with a road trip to Neptune on Sept. 24 and a difficult home game against Red Bank Catholic.
