Swastikas Found Throughout Long Branch's West End Park: Police

The incident took place close to Chabad of the Shore.

LONG BRANCH, NJ — Several small swastikas were drawn or painted in several areas of West End Park, Long Branch police announced Saturday. The park is about a block away from Chabad of the Shore, a Jewish place of worship.

Long Branch Police Chief Jason Roebuck reached out to the Chabad "to assure them that we are taking all the appropriate and necessary steps in the investigation," he said in a statement.

Detectives went to the scene Saturday night. Roebuck said the swastikas would be removed once they processed evidence.
