Tinton Falls Aims To Rid Borough of Potholes

Borough asking residents to report potholes

 

Potholes can be a problem in any town, but is one that Tinton Falls is actively looking to solve.

For the next two weeks the borough will be promoting its “See a Pothole?” campaign.

Large signs have been posted throughout the borough which read: “Tinton Falls Residents… See a Pothole in Town?”

These signs direct residents to visit the borough’s website at www.TintonFalls.com which includes a easy Service Request Form. The form will alert the borough of the locations of any potholes that are reported.

Additionally residents may report potholes by calling 732-542-3400 ext. 4.

“The Borough Council and I made road repairs and infrastructure improvements one of our top priorities," Tinton Falls Mayor Michael Skudera said. “Public works has increased its efforts and abilities to make quality in-house repairs to the borough roadways."

The administration also plans on presenting its 2012 Road Program to the Borough Council on Tuesday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m.

Apple Street and are already being targeted as roadway and infrastructure projects in Tinton Falls, and more may be coming soon. The New Jersey Department of Transportation has also granted funds to the borough for .
