Tinton Falls Attorney Named Prosecutor in Rumson

James Ronan, former assistant prosecutor in Rumson, has been appointed to prosecutor for the borough. Ronan will fill the post of former borough prosecutor Michael Halfacre, who left the job to take on a position with the state.

Rumson Mayor John Ekdahl said Ronan was chosen above four other candidates because of his experience in the borough, the great interview he gave and the police department's positive feedback.

Ronan is founding partner at the Tinton Falls based law firm of Ronan, Tuzzio and Giannone

Ronan also serves as municipal prosecutor for Shrewsbury and as legal counsel to the Bio-Ethics Committee for Monmouth Medical Center. He is also a member of the Shore Regional High School Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame.
