Tinton Falls Sets Salaries for Employees, Mayor and Council
The borough council approved an ordinance setting salaries for 2012.

The Tinton Falls Borough Council passed an ordinance at its Jan. 17 meeting approving salaries for department heads, mayor and council members for 2012.
The ordinance states that certain non-union salaries must be adopted by ordinance for statutory employees, department heads and elected officials.
According to the ordinance, collective bargaining agreements froze salaries for two years in exchange for increases going into effect on Dec. 31, 2011 and July 1, 2012.

The approved salaries are as follows:
