Week Ahead: Municipal Meetings and Thanksgiving Closures

Eatontown Green Team

In its efforts to reduce the borough's environmental footprint, the council organized a Green Team to lead the way. The group will meet at borough hall on Monday, Nov 21 at 6:30 p.m. According to the borough's Web site, "The Green Team is looking for additional Eatontown resident stakeholders such as homeowners, business leaders, community associations, planning, traffic advisory, subject matter experts and interested public to advise and help with our ongoing projects."

Tinton Falls Board of Education Meeting

A regular meeting will take place on Monday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at on Sycamore Avenue. 

Eatontown Borough Council Meeting

A regular meeting is scheduled this week but at a special date and time. It's at 4:15 on Tuesday, Nov. 22 upstairs at borough hall.

Half Day of School

Both Eatontown and Tinton Falls students will enjoy a half day of school on Wednesday leading up to Thanksgiving. See Web sites for Eatontown, Tinton Falls and schools for closing times.

Thanksgiving

All government offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25 for Thanksgiving. The will be closed on Thursday. The will close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday and reopen Friday morning. The Eatontown Public Libray is closed Thursday and Friday this week as is the Eantown Community Center.
