Wegmans Recalls Moody Face Stress Balls Due to Choking Hazard
Anyone who purchased them should return them to any Wegmans, including ones in Monmouth County, for a full refund.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Wednesday a recall of Gift Gallery Moody Face Stress Balls, purchased at Wegmans, saying they are a choking hazard.
The balls can break into pieces when squeezed, posing a choking hazard to young children, officials say. No injuries have been reported.

According to the CPSC, 7,000 of these solid rubber balls you can squeeze in your hand were sold in five colors (blue, green, orange, red and yellow) and have black eyes and mouth to form a smiley face printed on the front of each ball with either pink, orange or yellow hair on top.
Measuring 2.5 inches in diameter, the balls were packaged in a clear back with a white square label with the “Gift Gallery” logo. The model number of the affected balls is 205617 and the UPC code is 0-67103-30053-6.

The balls were sold at Wegmans locations in in Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia during September for about $1.
Customers who have purchased this item are being told to immediately stop using them and return them to any Wegmans service desk for a full refund.
