• Tickets From Long Valley To PA's 'Winter Wonderland' Now Available (patch.com) — Long Valley residents can sign up now for a Nov. 5 bus trip to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, featuring outlet shopping and a performance of the holiday musical Winter Wonderland. The bus leaves from the Washington Township Senior Center and returns to Long Valley that evening, with registration handled through Washington Township Recreation in town.
   

• Authorities identify men found dead after separate paddleboarding incidents in Morris County (wrnjradio.com) — Two men from Netcong and Edison died Sunday in separate paddleboarding incidents at Tilcon Lake in Mount Olive and Lake Hopatcong in Roxbury, prompting large multi-agency rescue efforts. Long Valley First Aid Squad was among the responders searching Lake Hopatcong after bystanders reported an unattended paddleboard. Authorities say foul play is not suspected and medical examinations are pending.
