Anti-Semitic Graffiti Found At Sussex Diner

SUSSEX, NJ — Anti-Semitic graffiti, including swastikas, was found spray painted on the Airport Diner in Sussex Sunday morning, a diner employee posted on Facebook.

According to a Facebook post by Miguel Velez, an employee, the diner was vandalized with anti-Semitic spray paint sometime Saturday night, and the damage was found Sunday morning. The graffiti included swastikas, "Kill Jews," "Heil Hitler," and other Nazi slogans.

A refrigerator was also damaged, and tools were strewn about the outside.

Velez said in a comment there are no cameras at the diner, but State Police are reviewing footage from nearby businesses. The graffiti had already been painted over, he said in another comment.

State Police Sgt. Jeff Flynn told the NJ Herald no arrests have been made and the incident remains under investigation.

Velez did not respond to Patch's request for comment.
