Avid Antique Collector, 58, Dies in Long Valley Home

Michael Casendino moved to the area in 1999.

Michael Casendino spent the past 14 years living in Long Valley.

The avid antique collector died suddenly at his home on Nov. 11 at the age of 58, according to his obituary at baileyfuneralhomes.com.

Casendino moved to the area in 1999 after spending much of his youth and adult years in Gladstone. He was a union laborer for Union Local 232 in Bernardsville for the last 30 years.

Casendino collected vintage dirt bikes and tools and enjoyed deer hunting.

He is survived by his mother Ann Racamato Casendino of Long Valley, a brother and niece.

A memorial mass will be held Saturday, Nov. 23 at St. Brigid Church in Peapack at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Hubert’s in his memory.
