Long Valley Boy Scout Troop 236 Honors 4th Generation Eagle Scout

BREAKING: Three brothers, their father, grandfather, and great-grandfather are all Eagle Scouts.

Charles Roehrich of Boy Scout Troop 236, in Long Valley, NJ was honored on June 18th at an Eagle Court of Honor for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, the Boy Scouts' highest honor.

Charles Roehrich, along with his brothers are 4th generation Eagle Scouts. Harold Roehrich (Charles Great Grandfather) was awarded Eagle Scout in 1917. He was as the second Eagle Scout in NJ.

To earn the Eagle Award, a Scout must be active with a troop, earn a minimum of 21 merit badges, assume a position of leadership in the troop and complete a service project that benefits his community.
