New Jersey Board of Public Utilities response to complaint regarding JCP&L

Response from the NJ BPU to my JCP&L service complaint and request for another utlility company to replace them.

Attached is the letter I received from the NJ BPU regarding my personal complaint that included a request JCP&L be removed and another power company granted the territory.

Please note the highlighted second paragraph. Apparently, the residents of Washington Township (or Mayor Short) did not make it clear this is what our township wants. As Joe Keyes pointed out, other townships expressed their desire to switch and the NJ BPU appears to be considering it.

More townships, including Washington Township, need to make the same request in order to truly be heard by the NJ BPU and in the case we are stuck with JCP&L, they might provide better service. If we don't jump on this one we are as much as saying, we are OK with JCP&L and their crappy service.
