Charcuterie Board Workshop Coming To Long Valley
The hands-on workshop for ages 9 and up will be held at the Washington Township Community Center.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Washington Township Recreation is inviting children ages 9 and up to a hands-on charcuterie workshop on Friday, May 8, at 5 p.m. at the Washington Township Community Center, 35 East Springtown Road.

The workshop,led by Jenny Boeckel from Rose & Fig, is designed for young participants to build their own charcuterie creations using cheeses, fruits, meats, nuts, and other foods. Children will learn how to arrange the ingredients into colorful displays and will leave with an edible gift they created themselves.

The session is a chance to “create, be happy, inspire, and enjoy” while taking part in a guided activity geared toward kids. Participants will head home with “a beautiful—and wonderfully tasty—gift crafted with creativity and someone special.”
Washington Township Recreation said the program is open to children attending with friends, bringing someone special, or joining on their own. The workshop is intended as a way to start the weekend with a creative activity in a community setting.

Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged. A non-refundable fee is due by May 1.
