Community Night Out Returns To Long Valley After 2 Years
The township's Community Night Out is returning this summer after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Mark your calendars: Washington Township's Community Night Out will return this summer after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
The annual fun evening event, now in its sixth year, is scheduled for July 19 at Rock Spring Park from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and is free to all residents.
Attendees can expect family-friendly activities such as a hot air balloon, bounce houses, a climbing wall, face painting, a video game truck, and more. There will also be food and a DJ playing music throughout the event.

The Washington Township Police Department and the Long Valley First Aid Squad will be on-site, along with County vehicles, to host a Touch-A-Truck event in which families can get up close and personal with a variety of emergency vehicles.
The Night Out is a team effort coordinated by Washington Township Emergency Services and local sponsors.
