Long Valley resident was intoxicated, police say.

On Saturday, May 14, Washington Township Police arrested a Long Valley woman after she threatened to kill an officer, Lt. Mark Niemynski said.
Officer Scott Myers and Cpl. James Burns responded to Glen Ridge Drive after a family member reported that Karen Addeo, 36, was intoxicated and disorderly, Niemynski said.
Myers and Burns arrived on the scene and began investigating the matter when Addeo threatened to kill Myers, Niemynski said. She was immediately arrested and transported to police headquarters, he said. Bail was set at $7,500 without a 10 percent option. Addeo was then transported to Morris County Jail, Niemynski said.
