CPR Classes To Be Offered By Long Valley Police, Recreation Department

The Washington Township Police Department will provide the training for the class, according to officials.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Learn lifesaving skills from the experts this month.

The Washington Township Police and Recreation Department will host an ADULT American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED course.

The course will run on both Sept. 22 and Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. and will be held at 1 East Springtown Road in Long Valley. This course will be completed in a socially distant manner while keeping Covid-19 precautions in mind, officials said.

The Washington Township Police Department will provide this training for a nonrefundable fee of $5 per student, which will go toward supplies.

Students who want to receive an AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED course completion card will have to pay an additional $20 processing fee at the end of the training.

Space for the session is limited and officials recommend signing up in advance. Registration for either class closes the day before the scheduled class.
