Daddy Daughter Dance, Casino Night Set for Long Valley by Junior Women's Club

One of Washington Township’s most notable and giving organizations has filled winter with a variety of events for the community.

The Long Valley Junior Women’s Club, also known as the Juniors, has announced its annual Daddy Daughter Date Night, set for Thursday, Jan. 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Minebrook Golf Club. The dance is available to dads, accompanied by daughters up to and including age 12. Cost is $30 per adult and $20 per child.

A buffet dinner, desserts, craft, and DJ will be available during the event. Registration can be done at lvjuniors.org and has a deadline of Jan. 12, 2015.

Another event, open to the entire community age 21 and over, is Casino Night, which will also be held at Minebrook Golf Club on Feb. 28 from 7 to 11 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit mental wellness programs at West Morris Central and Washington Township schools.

A $65 includes playing money, raffle tickets for prizes, a beverage ticket, and hors d’ oeuvres. Ticket sales can be directed to Julie Adams at adordmo@yahoo.com. Checks can be made payable to LVJWC and mailed to P.O. Box 98, Long Valley, NJ 07853 no later than Jan. 26, 2015.
