Fairmount Country Festival

FAIRMOUNT COUNTRY FESTIVAL and SILENT AUCTION 2012  - LIVE MUSIC - PONY RIDES - FACE PAINTING

 The 9th annual FAIRMOUNT COUNTRY FESTIVAL will be held on Sunday, June 10, from Noon to 5 PM on the grounds of the Fairmount Presbyterian Church Community House located at 247 Old Turnpike Road (Route 517).  Everyone is welcome to this fabulous family friendly event reminiscent of old fashioned country fairs. 

 This year we are very pleased to host the renowned children’s author and illustrator, Dar Hosta.  She will be signing books and answering your questions about her marvelous books.  New this year also is Kidz On The Go, a mobile soft-play activity center.  As always be entertained with live music by excellent local bands.  Children will love rides on Rocky, the gentle and friendly horse.  There are hay rides, a little kid’s petting zoo, a dunk tank, face painting, and plenty of kids’ games with prizes.

 Some very interesting items are among this year’s silent auction offerings.  Hot air balloon rides, Red Sox at Yankee Stadium tickets, a week’s timeshare almost anywhere, custom electric guitar, and many smaller items and services to fit your fancy and budget.

 Food and Beverages are available at very reasonable prices.   Food includes hot dogs, hamburgers and homemade baked goods by real church ladies!  Vendors with crafts and other unique goods will have items on display and available for sale.

 There is no admission charge for the festival and always plenty of free parking.  Please join for an afternoon of family fun!
