Guitar Concert at the Washington Twp. Public Library

Peter Biedermann is a guitarist that has been composing and performing for over 35 years and will
be appearing for the fourth time at the Washington Township Public Library, 37 E. Springtown Rd., Long Valley, NJ.  While his music covers a number of genres in various disciplines, the music you will
hear on the evening of Wednesday, April 18th at 7 p.m. will be entirely original instrumental music performed on 6, 8 & 12 string guitars in unique
tunings combined with various electronic processing devices. The music remains uniquely indefinable, yet familiar at the same time. The architecture of the
music is rhythmic and melodic and contains a combination of structure and improvisation that embraces the influences of the last 50 years of years of (too many to be accounted for) solo acoustic guitar visionaries. Fans of the likes of Bert Jansch, John Martyn, Ralph Towner, Leo Kottke and Michael Hedges will enjoy this music. As the program is always interactive with the audience,
PB will spend as much time as necessary to demystify the mystery of his
instrumental music.

Call the Library at 908-876-3596 or go to www.wtpl.org to sign up for this concert!
