Friends of the Washington Township Public Library will host a venerable "chick flick", at the Library, about an aspiring author during the civil rights movement of the 1960's who decides to write a book detailing the African-American maid's point of view on the white families for which they work, and the hardships they go through on a daily basis. This movie is punctuated with a great cast and is sure to grab a number of statues during the upcoming awards season.
Everyone who comes to the show will also be entered to win a Door Prize! Bring a friend, or two, or make some new friends. A warm cozy room and atmosphere await after weeks of busy schedules and recent bitter temps!
