If you missed the opportunity of taking the “Fashion First Workshops” during this past Spring or Summer; or enjoyed it so much that you’d love for it to continue, then please do not miss the chance to explore fashion and learn the fundamentals of sewing skills through the amazing and talented Renee Nesbitt-Baird. Renee is a graduate of “Parsons School of Design” and one of the winners of the “Children’s Wear Award” for JC Penney. She will assist the students from choosing their fabric, designing and sketching their design, measuring their silhouette, to finishing up with a final fitting leading to a fashion show on the last day.
The Workshops are scheduled for Grades 2-9 from 4:30-5:30 pm, on Wednesdays beginning September 25th through October 30th, 2019 at Long Valley Teen Arts Center, Long Valley, NJ. A non-refundable fee is due before September 20, 2019. Please register early as space is limited.
