The Morris County Historical Society's lecture, 'Over Here & Over There, Morris County's Role in WWII,' will provide insight into some of the county's 'ordinary' citizens who rose to greatness during the second World War. The lecture looks at the lives and accomplishments of local heroes, in many cases by way of their own recollections, and will introduce attendees to the profound role these local residents played, as both leaders on the home-front and abroad. It will also illustrate how local business, even whole communities, were involved in the war effort! Morris County made major contributions to the war effort - come and learn just how!
