Fireworks And Green Festival Returns With A Bang To Long Valley

Those gathered at Long Valley Middle School enjoyed music and food, while browsing the Green Festival before the fireworks show.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Fireworks lit up the skies Saturday during the 15th annual Fireworks and Green Festival in Long Valley.

Matt Murello, mayor of Washington Township, posted photos of the event and thanked all the volunteers, vendors, and exhibitors who put it together.

The festival is hosted by the Washington Township Green Team and Long Valley Fire Company, to benefit the fire company and promote eco-consciousness. The annual event was reintroduced last year after being postponed in 2020 due to COVID-19.

The Green Team and Fire Company also thanked everyone who attended, helped with, and exhibited at the event. A number of area vendors and local non-profits and causes had tables at the Green Festival.
