First Ever 'Springfest' Event To Be Held At Ort Farms In Long Valley
Ort Farms will hold its first-ever Springfest at the end of May, to coincide with the start of their strawberry season.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Live music, food trucks, craft beers, and family farm fun are all part of the celebration that's held at the end of May to kick off the start of strawberry season.
Ort Farms on 25 Bartley Road is hosting its first-ever Springfest event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 27.
Cousins Maine Lobster, one of the food truck vendors planning to attend, specializes in their traditional Maine roll, which features Maine lobster served chilled with mayo on a New England roll with a lemon wedge.

There will be live music from Jay Johnston and the Honkytonk Scoundrels, scenic horse-drawn carriage rides around the strawberry patch, and more for all event attendees.
Kids can ride the farm's cow train, and local artisan vendors will also be on hand with their one-of-a-kind, handcrafted goods for festival-goers of all ages.

Strawberry season begins on May 20, and the patch is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or until the strawberries are picked.
Ort Farms has over four acres of strawberries, with a $5 patch admission fee that includes access to the strawberry fields as well as all other farm amenities like the hay pyramid, kid's play area, and friendly farm animals.
The cost of the strawberries is not included in the admission fee, and each group must purchase at least one Ort Farms box or basket.
