Free First Aid Class Offered By WTPD

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Washington Township Police Department is offering a free first aid class for adults next month. Space is limited, so sign up soon.

The class will be held on Wednesday, March 28 from 6-9 p.m. at police headquarters. Cpl. Falleni and Sgt. Barnes will teach the the Basic American Heart Association First Aid program which covers first aid basics, medical emergencies, and preventable situations, among other emergencies.

The class is free, but for a $10 processing fee participants can receive a certification card from the American Heart Association.

To register for the seminar, and to ask any questions, call the recreation Department at 908-876-5941 or email at recreation@wtmorris.net. Registrations should be submitted by March 21.
