Girls Scouts Bring Love to Elderly Women in Need for Valentine's Day

Troop arranges flowers for Morristown residents.

Rather than worrying about who would ask them to become a valentine on Feb. 14, a dozen members of Girl Scout Troop 277 in Washington Township decided to spread the love.

The troop members put together flower bouquets for the women residing at Mt. Kemble Home in Morristown last Thursday. Residents there are elderly women of “limited means,” according to Homeless Solutions, LLC, which oversees the program.

The Mt. Kemble home was established n 1883 and became part of the Homeless Solutions program in 2013.
