On-the-Go and Overall Healthy Eating

Join the Chester Lioness Club for dinner and an informative discussion about Healthy Eating on March 3!

The Chester Lioness Club will meet at 6:30 PM on Thursday, March 3, 2016 in the Lamplighter Restaurant, 190 West Main Street, Chester, NJ 07930. A discussion about “Healthy Eating - Overall and On-the-Go” will be led by Jennifer Palmiere, RD, the Retail Registered Dietitian for the Village Supermarkets, Inc. As retail dietitian, Ms. Palmiere adds a valuable resource for customers by providing expert advice for their nutritional and health needs. Included in the evening’s discussion will be the ChooseMyPlate healthy meal planning approach which incorporates the 5 basic food groups; fruits, vegetable, proteins, grain and dairy. Fats, oils and sweets will be included in the discussion as well as basic label reading. Making healthy choices while traveling and dining out will also be included.
