You'll want to take steps to prevent frostbite.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ— The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Morris County, beginning Wednesday morning and lasting through the weekend.

There will be some precipitation later, but the worst of the weather will be the cold: the temperature with wind chill is expected to go as low as -5 t0 -10 degrees, especially at night.

And the wind will be intense, with gusts up to 45 mph Thursday, into the night.

With that combination of wind and low temperature, it takes just over 30 minutes for frostbite to set in, so make sure to bundle up if you head out at night.

There will be some overnight snow Friday night, which will turn into a wintery mix or freezing rain Saturday morning.
