Hottest Weather Of The Year Rolling Into New Jersey This Week
A heatwave is coming to New Jersey, bringing the hottest temperatures we've had so far this year, forecasters say.

After a somewhat mild Fourth of July weekend, get ready for summer to bring the heat.
A heatwave is on the way, and will hit New Jersey mid-week with some of the hottest temperatures this year, forecasters say. It could feel hotter than 100 degrees Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with the humidity, according to Accuweather.
After heavy rains overnight Monday into Tuesday, temperatures will hover in the 80s Tuesday in New Jersey.
On Wednesday, temperatures will go up to the 90s and stay that way during the day through the end of the week.
Plan a trip to the pool or stay inside in the air conditioner Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, when temperatures will go up to 93 in some parts of the state — and will feel even hotter due to the humidity, Accuweather says.
"An official heat wave is likely to occur along the I-95 corridor," AccuWeather Meteorologist Brett Rathbun said. "This will be the hottest weather so far this year."
Temperatures could linger in the 90s on Saturday, with a high in the 80s Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
