Learn CPR For $5 In Long Valley
The police department is offering low cost CPR training to the community-- but registration is limited.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — When you hear about police saving heart attack victims, police usually only get the chance to help because the family kept the victim astable until trained professionals could get there. Now, the Washington Township Police Department wants to make sure everyone is ready to save a life, and is offering low cost CPR and AED training to community members.
UPDATE, April 20: The class has been filled, and no more registrations will be accepted.
Participants will learn adult and child CPR/AED use, infant CPR, and how to relieve choking in adults, children, and infants. The course uses the American Heart Association's teaching methods, and for an additional fee, participants can receive an AHA certificate.

The course will be taught by by Cpl Falleni and Officer Barnes at police headquarters on May 21 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The course is $5, and the optional certificate is $20.
