Learn to Preserve Your Harvest at the Library

LONG VALLEY -- On Thursday, September 27th at 7 p.m., Grow It Green Morristown will present "Saving Your Harvest for Winter" at Washington Township Public Library. It’s a wonderful problem when you have too much produce. Since you have already given out as many of your extra tomatoes as you can, what are you going to do with the rest? Join us for a class on jarring and storing your vegetables and herbs for the fall and winter. We will be covering fermentation, freezing and canning.
