Long Valley LAX Duo Named Collegiate Scholar All-Americans
Lacrosse and friendship have kept Conor Boyland and Ryan Millard close for more than a decade.

They started as teammates and quickly became great friends. But in fifth grade no one knew the lacrosse-loving duo would share one of college’s most prestigious honors in 2015.
Conor Boyland and Ryan Millard played lacrosse together in Long Valley for eight years, from the junior Wolfpack in elementary school to the varsity squad at West Morris Central.
When the time came to go off to college, the buds went their separate ways; Boyland to Susquehanna University, where he captained the lacrosse team in 2015, his senior year; and Millard to the University of Scranton, where he helped fuel the team to its third consecutive conference title game.

The two played in the same conference, even became rivals, but never forgot their friendship or their roots.
Now, as May begins to end and the summer season rolls in, the Long Valley pair will be able to share yet another moment together. Both have been named to the 2015 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-American for Division III.
