PRICELESS: There's Christmas Caroling, And Then There's This Epic Display

An improv group led by Long Valley actress Chelsea Friedlander surprises New Jersey family with enormous caroling session.

Christmas caroling has always had a warm, fuzzy, almost quaint feeling to it.

But an improv group took it to a whole new level recently in a YouTube video sponsored by Target.

The video by Improv Everywhere -- which stars Long Valley’s Chelsea Friedlander -- features a Victorian-era caroling quartet knocking on the home of an unsuspecting family in Englewood Cliffs.

The quartet doesn’t just carol, though. Oh no, that wouldn’t possibly give it the “epic” title it goes by.

In the video the quartet knocks on the door and begins to sing. Over the next two minutes, a 13-member choir and 20-piece orchestra, along with dancing elves and Santas join the performance to make it truly epic, lighting up the neighborhood.

Friedlander, the caroler on the far left of the quartet at the start of the video, is no stranger to entertaining or big productions. The West Morris Central graduate has done everything from live stage productions to television spots.
