Long Valley Native Commissioned as Army Lt. Upon College Graduation

Morganne Hedden just experienced two of the biggest accomplishments of her young life.

On May 31, Hedden was commissioned into the United States Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. Just a day later, she graduated University of Scranton with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Community Health Education.

Hedden is currently located in Fort Knox, Kentucky. She was one of 10 University of Scranton graduates to be commissioned at a ceremony on May 31.
