Long Valley Troop 236 goes on an "Urban Hike" in New York City

On Sunday, December 2, Long Valley Boy Scout Troop 236 braved the rain and took a seven mile urban hike in New York City. After arriving in New York on the NY Waterway ferry from Weehawken the Troop members, 32 in total, hiked over to visit the USS Intrepid Air, Space and Sea Museum. From the Intrepid the group hiked to midtown Manhattan where they visited St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center and viewed the 5th Avenue store windows decorated for the holiday season before returning to the ferry for the trip back to New Jersey. A great time was had by all despite the rainy weather. Scouts in photo include: Ryan Kennedy, James Bermeo, Logan Hart, London Hart, Scott Mitchell, Michael Aaron, Joe Dowd, Noah Lopez, James Moore, Jonathan Moore, Nico D'Amico, Stephen Mickus, Christian Maier, Brodie Frisch and Marcello D'Amico.
