Longtime Long Valley Resident, School Secretary Dies at 86
Bernice Dube moved to town in 1965.

Bernice Dube watched Long Valley change through the decades by watching the seasons turn and the children grow.
The longtime resident died last week at the age of 86.
Dube moved to Long Valley in 1965, where she worked as a secretary to the principal at Flocktown School for 31 years.

She was also a member o the Rosary Society and an active parishioner at St. Lawrence Church in Chester. Dube loved reading, crossword puzzles, gardening, and trips to Atlantic City.
Dube is survived by her husband of 57 years, Norman; three daughters; and three grandchildren.

A memorial celebration will be held at William J. Leber Funeral Home at 15 Furnace Road in Chester from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23. Memorial donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, P.O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, Maryland, 21741-5014.
