Longtime Mendham Resident, Korean War Vet Dies at 81
Anthony Palmieri was also a member of the Mendham United Methodist Church.

Anthony Palmieri spent nearly half a century living in Mendham.
The Morris County native died recently at the age of 81, according to his obituary.
Palmieri was born in Morristown and graduated from high school there in 1952. He then served in the Air Force from 1952 to 1956 during the Korean War.

Palmieri owned the Tony’s Super Mobil in Bernards Township for 20 years after owning a Texaco Service Station in Denville. Palmieri also worked as a Pro Shop Supervisor at Pinch Brook Golf Course in Florham Park.
Palmieri moved to Mendham 48 years ago.

He was also an active member of the Mendham United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Joan, two sons, one daughter, and seven grandchildren.
