Lost Dog Remains Unclaimed In Long Valley, Police Seek Help

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Police in Long Valley are searching for the owner of a dog they found days ago.

On March 1, police found a female Shepherd mix near the intersection of Fairview and Drakestown in Long Valley.

Police said that despite several social media posts regarding the dog, nobody has come forward to claim her.

“No one has come forward yet to claim this sweet pup,” A Washington Township Police Department post read. “She is currently safe and well cared for, but we would love to reunite her with her family.”

Authorities ask that anyone who may recognize the lost dog contact the police dispatch at 908- 876-3232.
