Loving Grandmother, Long Valley Resident Dies at 66

Patricia Holden enjoyed conversations about politics and history.

Patricia “Patty” Holden was an adoring, loving family woman who devoted much of her time and life to those around her.

The Long Valley resident died on May 1 at the age of 66.

Born in 1948, Holden enjoyed passionate conversations about politics and history, loved spending time with her family, going on walks, afternoon tea, and gardening.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Thomas Holden, and three children: Tracey; Shawn; and Jeffrey; as well as four granddaughters.

A celebration of Patty’s Life will include a visitation on Tuesday, May 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at William J. Leber Funeral Home at 15 Furnace Road in Chester.

A 10:30 a.m. funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 6 at St. Mark’s Church on Spring Lane in Long Valley.
